A Webinar For Pets & Their People

No more stinky poops! This presentation will provide you with nutrition and pet care tips so that your cat or dog will have better poops, better nutrition, and better overall health.

Everyone poops. It's one of those less than glamorous aspects of pet ownership. What if we can improve the experience? Have fewer late night trips outside? Have a less stinky litter box? The good news is that this is possible with improved nutrition and a few key assessments that pet owners can do at home. Not only will your pet's poops improve, but better poops means a healthier animal too. It's really a win, win.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the connection between nutrition, behaviour, and poop.
  • Learn how to use body weight, muscle mass, and poop scores.
  • Learn how to read ingredient lists and distinguish between low and high quality foods.
  • Become aware of the pitfalls of transitioning onto a new food.
  • Know when to get the vet involved.

    About Your Presenter

Gillian is the founder of The Healthy Feline, a science-based and nutrition-forward virtual consultancy aimed at helping cats and their humans live better together. She believes that health begins with nutrition, and focuses her work on diet and behavior. She employs force- and fear-free training techniques while helping guardians manage litter box issues, aggression, excessive vocalizations, destructive scratching, obsessive behaviors, obesity, and pickiness. She has worked and volunteered in cat rescue for over a decade and has spent much of her career rehabilitating undersocialized cats around Toronto, Canada. Working with rescue groups and shelters, Gillian has rehomed about a thousand cats, dogs, rabbits, and birds (and some reptiles!) She lives with two cats, a greyhound, and a husband, who are all the loves of her life.
