PPG Launches Revamped Corporate Partner Program
PPG has launched a new look Corporate Partner Program for 2019, to include enhanced benefits and three new options to suit individual business goals: Ambassador, Diplomat and Delegate. PPG Signs Easy Pet Fence as New Corporate Partner; Discount Available for Members Easy Pet Fence has signed up as a new PPG Corporate Partner – Delegate Level. The company, based in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, offers humane, easy-to-install outdoor pet enclosures for dogs, cats and backyard chickens that match the needs of individual landscapes, pets and budgets. All products are 100 percent harm-free to pets, owners and the environment. The company is against invisible fencing, citing it to be “psychologically and physically damaging to pets.”

Shock-Free Coalition Now in NY, KY The Shock-Free Coalition, PPG’s international advocacy initiative and to support their efforts to build a strong and broad movement committed to eliminating shock devices from the supply and demand chain, has opened new chapters in Kentucky and New York as the movement goes from strength to strength. The Kentucky chapter will be headed up by Tracey Hagan and the New York chapter will be led by Pam Shultz. PPG Workshops 2019: Robert Hewings Dr. Robert Hewings from the UK College of Scent Dogs is coming to PPG Headquarters in Tampa, Florida in November 2019 to present two programs: #1 Become an Accredited Scent Instructor: Saturday, November 9 - Wednesday, November 13, 2019. #2 Post Traumatic Stress Disorder – Assistance Dog Training: Monday, November 18 - Tuesday, November 19, 2019. PPG Workshops 2019: Vicki Ronchette; Craig Ogilvie PPG Hosts Florida Training Workshop PPG recently held the 'Get Out of Your Comfort Zone and Get Agile While You Tune-Up Your Training Skills and Mechanics!' PPG Hosts Second Educational “Day of Fun” in January PPG held its second day of free education and fun for PPG members and DogSmiths at its headquarters in Tampa, Florida at the end of January. The schedule included sessions by PPG president, local animal trainer and exotics specialist, Emily Cassell, and Tampa-based dog trainer and behavior consultant, Dawn Hanna. After the morning’s presentation, attendees took part in a group training session outdoors. More photos will be available in the March 2019 issue of BARKS. PPGBI Attends WOOF 2019 in UK The PPGBI team (above right, left to right, PPGBI membership manager Louise Stapleton-Frappell with Carole Hussein, and PPGBI steering committee member, Dayle Pierce) traveled to PPGBI special counsel Chirag Patel's (above left, on right) event, WOOF 2019, held in Nottingham, England last weekend.
