PPG Announces Full List of Winners for Let’s Celebrate +R Photo/Video Competition

PPG Workshops: One Instructor - Two Events

Dr. Robert Hewings (above) from the UK College of Scent Dogs is coming to PPG Headquarters in Tampa, Florida in November 2019 to present two programs:

#1 Become an Accredited Scent Instructor: Saturday, November 9 - Wednesday, November 13, 2019

Limited to 14 working spot attendees only to ensure maximum attention and practical opportunities. Each day is split 50/50 theory/practical and is presented at a high level for dog training instructors.

#2 Post Traumatic Stress Disorder – Assistance Dog Training: Monday, November 18 - Tuesday, November 19, 2019

For anybody interested in the training of dogs to support sufferers of PTSD specifically, and for those with a general interest in the role of assistance dogs.

Monthly payments and CEUs available for both events. Working and auditor spots are available for both. More details and how to register.

Portland 2019: Spots Still Available!

PPG and co-host Doggone Safe are still offering tickets for the Canine Aggression and Bite Prevention Education seminar taking place at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Portland, Oregon on April 26-28, 2019. The event will feature all-day general sessions supported by an afternoon feline specialty track. Session topics include the neuroscience of aggression, functionally assessing aggression, resource guarding, aggression modification protocols, techniques, and managing clients with aggressive pets, while presenters include Dr. Lisa Radosta, Dr. Nathan Hall, Dr. Ilana Reisner, Pat Miller, Chirag Patel, Niki Tudge, Judy Luther, Janis Bradley and David Pearsall, with Paula Garber, Beth Adelman and Tabitha Kucera of the PPG cat committee heading up the feline specialty track. The popular Great Dane package is once again available and includes the seminar entrance ticket, seminar T-shirt, hotel accommodation, breakfast and lunch each day, and both evening events.

PPG to Host Second Educational “Day of Fun” in January

PPG is planning its next member fun day, again in Tampa, Florida, on Sunday, January 20, 2019 starting at 9 a.m. Following on from the success of the previous event (see photo, above), the program will incorporate a free, full day of networking, sessions, competitions and more.
