PPG Opens Registrations for Inaugural Australia Summit



The event is due to take place at the Bankstown Sports Club in Sydney, New South Wales, on July 27-29, 2018. Janis Bradley, communications and publications director of the National Canine Research Council, professional guide dog trainer Michele Pouliot, applied animal behaviorist Kathy Sdao, and PPG founder and president Niki Tudge will all present at the summit alongside Australia-based behavior and training specialists, Dr. Kat Gregory, Louise Ginman, Louise Newman, Alexis Davison, Laura Ryder and PPG Australia president Barbara Hodel, in what will be a mix of lectures and applied behavior analysis workshops. Limited Places Available at PPG's 2018 Utah Training and Behavior Workshop



Taking place at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah on April 22-26, 2018, the workshop will feature four days of lectures and hands-on clinics across multiple species with industry experts Janis Bradley, Chirag Patel, Emily Larlham, Jacqueline Munera, Emily Cassell and Lara Joseph, supported by Best Friends experts Dr. Franklin McMillan, Sherry Woodard, Glenn Pierce, plus a special presentation by Best Friends co-founder, Faith Maloney. Kathy Cascade to Present Florida Workshop

The two-day workshop, S.A.N.E. Solutions for Shy and Fearful Dogs®, will take place at PPG's HQ in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, January 27 - Sunday January 28, 2018. Cascade will present an effective and positive approach to working with dogs who exhibit difficult behavior issues such as extreme fearfulness, anxiety, reactivity to new environments, noise phobias, and hyper-arousal. The event is aimed at owners of dogs who exhibit shy, fearful, or anxious behaviors, and dog trainers, rescue and animal welfare professionals, or other pet care professionals who work with dogs with these behavior issues. Project Trade Announces June Ambassadors


In June, two Project Trade members took the ambassadorial honors: Breanna Norris of Canine Insights in Maine, USA, who collected three shock collars, two prong collars, and three choke collars, (pictured right) and Anastasia Tsoulia of Hug4Pets in Thessaloniki, Greece, who collected three prong collars and one choke collar (pictured below). There were many other successful participants in June and we congratulate them all: Stephanie Peters of Plucky Paws, LLC in Iowa, USA (one choke collar and one prong collar); Daniel Antolec of Happy Buddha Dog Training in Wisconsin, USA (one prong collar); Nee Kang of Cheerful Dogs in Singapore (one choke chain); Dan Raymer of North Carolina Dogs in North Carolina, USA (one prong collar); Erika Gonzalez of From Dusk Till Dog, LLC in Mantua, New Jersey (one prong collar and two shock collars); and Aileen Hodgson of K9-Kapers Limited in Scotland, United Kingdom (one shock collar).
